SUMMARY:Open Innovation course
DESCRIPTION:The Open Innovation Course\, developed part of E³UDRES² – Ent-r-e-novators explore how openness transforms education by making knowledge accessible\, shareable\, and co-created. You will learn about the history and philosophy of openness\, practical ways to use and create Open Educational Resources (OERs)\, and how innovative approaches such as Artificial Intelligence or MOOCs can reshape learning and teaching. \nLearning Objectives: \nThis Course aims to: \nIntroduce the principles\, history\, and philosophy of openness in education. \nExplain key concepts such as the 5R framework and Open Educational Practices (OEP). \nProvide skills for finding\, evaluating\, and using OERs effectively. \nSupport students in creating\, remixing\, and sharing OERs. \nExplore the role of Artificial Intelligence and digital tools in open education. \nEncourage collaboration and co-creation of knowledge through open pedagogies. \nFamiliarise students with MOOCs and digital learning resources as tools for lifelong learning. \nCompetencies: In line with the EU Digital competencies DigComp 2.2\, this course will contribute to the development of: \nInformation and data literacy: locating\, evaluating\, and managing open resources. \nDigital content creation: designing\, remixing\, and licensing OERs. \nCommunication and collaboration: co-creating digital artefacts and engaging in open educational practices. \nSafety and ethics: applying open licenses responsibly and understanding copyright in education. \nProblem-solving and innovation: using AI\, MOOCs\, and emerging technologies for creative and effective open education solutions. \nOutcomes: On completion of this course\, participants will be able to: \nDefine and explain key concepts of open education and OERs. \nApply the 5R framework (retain\, reuse\, revise\, remix\, redistribute) to educational resources. \nIdentify\, evaluate\, and use high-quality OERs from trusted repositories. \nCreate and share original OERs with appropriate Creative Commons licensing. \nDemonstrate how AI and digital tools can enhance open education practices. \nParticipate in collaborative and co-creative open pedagogies. \nReflect on examples of open assignments\, MOOCs\, and student-created digital artifacts as models for practice. \n  \nActivities: Different activities indicated in the course\, quizz  \nTime to complete the course: \nThis course is considered of 24 hours of learning activities as 1 ECTS. After you have completed all the activities\, you will be able to earn the badge\, issued as a micro-credential.
